old-Toffee Talk story

about-us-catherine.jpgMy love of cooking and passion for traditions led me to a new sweet venture in 2009.  While learning cherished recipes handed down within the family, my darling godmother Suzi Soper shared her favorite toffee recipe.

It is through this recipe that I found people talking about my toffee and encouraging me to share my delicious gifts with others.

This has truly been a collective effort of family and friends who have inspired and helped me start CJ’s Toffee & Toppings. Last September I introduced my product – delicious toffee named for the spirited word of mouth that comes from those who enjoy it “Toffee Talk – Little Pieces of Conversation.”  Now an award winning treat (winner of “Best of Show” for all confections – out of 600+-- at the Marin County, California fair!).

Check out the various nut flavors and size options – I even have a peanut option for those with nut allergies (inspired by my darling cousin Ellin who loves toffee but is allergic to other nuts).

You will also find beautiful packaging options for gift giving (as well as personal enjoyment) and a variety of seasonal themes.  I even have larger sizes for corporate gift giving and can fill custom options (baby shower, wedding or even college reunion favors – in colors to match your needs).

The reason my company name is “CJ’s Toffee & Toppings” is because my passions for delicious food ideas continue to grow.  I have a yummy topping for ice cream called “Crumble Mumble.”   I have even been told it is fabulous on oatmeal!  And I will soon be introducing (due to ongoing requests of my family and friends) savory croutons that have been a hit in my house for many years – yet to be named.

I hope you enjoy whatever “crunchy option” fits your fancy.  And please let me know what you think through my "Chat with us" page.  You can even become a fan on Facebook and follow us as we introduce Toffee Talk all over the US and the world!

If you know anyone else who might enjoy Toffee Talk, please share this information …consider it your own “little pieces of conversation”.

Thank you so much for helping support my new, sweet venture.
